    Spherion Staffing Reno, NV is recruiting for a direct hire territorial sales manager position for company that focuses on selling engineering related products to various industries.

    Remote based position but with outside travel. No home office.$70,000 per year base payCommission and bonuses.

    The Sales Engineer (Industrial Automation) is responsible for the promotion, internal and external technical support, and solutions based selling of products in our Technology Segment to include: Industrial Field Instrumentation; all components including Primary Control Element, Control Instrumentation and Final Control Element.

    The Sales Engineer (Industrial Automation) will develop, implement and execute annual business plans to increase market share with active product portfolios in addition to new product launches.

    This position will need to continuously analyze and understand customer requirements in order to remain competitive.

    Additionally, the Sales Engineer (Industrial Automation) develops and implements marketing, promotion and training programs with our selling partners, see website, to support new product launches and identify engineered solutions for customer applications and migration solutions for legacy products.

    Must be skilled in making B to B Sales Calls. We are not looking for someone to manage other Salesmen.
    Achieving key results in both sales and margin for assigned product(s)

    Develops annual sales forecastParticipates in cross functional organizational meetings, as required, to educate others and maintain product awareness/knowledgeDefines and identifies target accountsProvides technical support to customerIdentifies top competitors and obtains competitive sales briefs to stay relevantWorks collaboratively with management to identify competitors and develop annual plansConduct sales presentations to customersWorking hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMSkills:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (preferred), or Associate's Degree with a minimum of 2-4 years Technical/Industrial Automation Sales experience: Field Instrumentation - Control ValvesFamiliarity with the Industrial Automation product(s), application and associated standardsPrevious strategic planning experience to include competitive Market Analysis is preferredAbility to work cross functionally across regions and functional areas within the companyExtremely motivated, organized, time management skills, drug free, background check requiredCompensation: Commensurate with education and experience
