- Composes, types, and transcribes correspondence, forms, reports, presentation materials and other written communications.
- Monitors Radiology transcription and corresponds with off-site transcription supervisors.
- Monitors ED call log.
- Ensures accuracy of Radiology requisition and orders.
- Monitors Radiology patient wait time.
- Receives, screens, and routes visitors and telephone calls. Responds to, escalates, and follows up on inquiries and problems as appropriate.
- Maintains files and office equipment.
- Assists Radiologists with transcription/report issues.
- Delivers "discrepancy" form with Radiology report to ER physicians daily.
- Burns images onto CDs from the PACS system for mailout or patient/courier pickup.
- Assists staff physicians with PACS system and routes questions/issues to PACS/RIS Administrator.

Sovah Health is looking for the ideal candidate who will be a point-of-contact for Radiology support staff. Responsible for making corrections to medical reports and typing departmental correspondence as requested. Schedules procedures with patient and/or physician's office, providing physician's offices and patients with preps and instructions, prior to exams. Assists RSA staff with duties when necessary. Assists with family and visitors and contacts on call staff. Participates in Quality Improvement and practices Infection control according to hospital policies.Who We Are:

Required Skills
