    This position will work with business stakeholders to define and manage business requirements, product backlog, sprints, and report out status updates between the business and IT management.

    This position will also develop data and report visualizations using Tableau.

    The Office of the Commissioner of Insurance (OCI) Technology Services are located within the Division of Enterprise Technology (DET), Department of Administration.

    OCI's mission is to protect and educate Wisconsin consumers by maintaining and promoting a strong insurance industry.

    This position will have the option of working remotely upon agreement of the supervisor but may be asked to come into the office periodically.

    This schedule may change based on operational needs and organizational requirements.

    Position Summary Under the general supervision of the Office of the Commissioner of Insurance (OCI) Technology Services Section, in the Division of Enterprise Technology (DET), Bureau of Business Application Services, this position is responsible for business analysis and Tableau desktop development services to develop new Tableau solutions and to support and refine existing ones that support the needs of the Office of the Commissioner of Insurance.


    Key responsibilities include:

    Work with users to understand business needs and develop solutions which meet the needs in the most efficient and cost-effective manner Perform or lead Tableau development and testing to ensure deliverables are of the highest degree of quality, meet security standards, and achieve the business goals Utilize Agile methodologies to define and manage business requirements, product backlog, sprints, and implementation tasks to ensure successful on-time deliverables Provide Tableau Desktop support; troubleshooting production issues and prioritizing work to resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner based on business impact Provide exceptional customer service through quality communication, collaboration, and support Effective communications with business and IT management including status reporting For more information, please view the complete position description .

    Salary Information Starting salary for the IS Business Automation Senior will be between $ $44.52 an hour. A 12-month probationary period is required. Pay for current state employees will be in accordance with the State Compensation Plan. Job Details This position is part time (0.50 FTE) and is not eligible for benefits. Leave time will be prorated on hours worked.
    Due to the nature of the position, DOA will conduct fingerprinting and background checks on applicants prior to selection. DOA does not sponsor work visas.
