    Grant Accountant Position at Empath Health
    Empath Health is currently seeking a Grant Accountant to join our team


    The Grant Accountant:

    Responsibilities:
    Responsible for all the recording, keeping, and reporting requirements of Empath Health and its affiliates.

    Support the Grant Senior Accountant in developing, implementing, and providing ongoing financial oversight to grants management operations.

    Ensure the appropriate use and accurate reporting of all financial transactions on grants and contracts.

    Complete other duties as assigned by the Director of Accounting.


    Position Requirements:

    Education and/or Experience:
    Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent work experience.


    Five or more years of accounting experience, with a minimum of two years in a nonprofit or government setting, with nonprofit and grant experience preferred.

    Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, efficiently, and simultaneously.

    Knowledge of accounting practices and grants.

    Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel required; additional Microsoft Office experience preferred.

    Good written and verbal communication skills are essential.
