    UnityPoint Clinic is actively recruiting for a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Waterloo, IA.

    • Full-time position, including dedicated administrative time, with flexible scheduling to ensure sufficient patient access
    • Evaluates, interprets and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care
    • Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment
    • Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Fully integrated system with clinic and hospital EPIC EMR to improve care coordination
    Responsibilities


    • Office hours 8-5 PM with extended hours on Tuesday/Wednesday (8AM-7PM)
    • Flexible scheduling allows for good work life balance
    • Average # of patients/per day 18-20
    • Provide care for Newborns, toddlers, children, and adolescents
    • Full scope of primary care services for Pediatric patients
    • Delivering exceptional patient care with knowledge and understanding of how treatments affect different developmental growth stages
    • Orders, performs, and interprets all common tests deemed necessary and appropriate based on history and physician exam
    • Well baby visits, Check-ups, annual physicals, acute visits, same day appointments, promote preventative care and health maintenance, provide education, and refer as needed
    • Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
    • Provide the best outcome for every patient every time
    Qualifications


    • Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
    • Board Certified
    • Experience preferred
    • Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of IA
    • Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice
    • Eligible to work in the United States
