    Description

    Primary Role:

    Completion of all maintenance service requests, while having knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems.

    Responsibilities:

    • Maintaining and fixing of our light duty machines and meeting with machine repair personnel as needed.
    • Repairing of building systems, such as plumbing, electrical, masonry, and carpentry needs.
    • Grounds keeping (including, but not limited to, lawn mowing, snow plowing, salt spreading, tree/shrub trimmings, and general landscape upkeep for both locations).
    • Cleaning jobs like window washing and carpet cleaning.
    • Air handler and general HVAC maintenance.
    • Lock changes and door repairs.
    • Preventative maintenance.
    • Moving of office furniture.
    • Installation and repair of walls, window coverings, cabinets, light fixtures, etc.
    • Coordinate building maintenance and repairs with vendors and service personnel.
    • Utilize Hippo program for all required work center machine and tool maintenance.
    • Inspect fire extinguishers and exit lights. Ensure an annual 3rd party inspection.
    • Recycle hazardous waste when needed and office recycling/garbage pick-up.
    • Purchase supplies, compare prices, and obtain contractor estimates.
    • Conduct daily security checks.
    • Machinery and equipment installation, set-ups, and adjustments.
    • Inspect building systems and grounds to identify any issues and ensure they are addressed.
    • Keep up a good appearance on the inside and outside of both facilities.
    • Rivet gun and pneumatic tool maintenance.
    • Organize and maintain the maintenance area.
    • Assist in the act of production when asked by production management.
    • Blow out smoke detectors in the production area quarterly.
    • Drive to pick up items for production and the business as needed.

    Requirements

    Qualifications and Education Requirements:

    Must have proven knowledge and experience in all areas of general maintenance

    2+ years' experience in machine and building maintenance

    Machine technician experience preferred

    Mechanical abilities/jack of all trades

    Industry knowledge

    Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.

    Must provide a valid driver's license

    Preferred Skills:

    Able to work independently and with a team

    Self-starter, motivated

    Good inter-personal skills, a demonstrated ability to productively collaborate with clients, co-workers, and external constituents

    Ability to use company communication devices, accurately enter data into a personal computer, and answer telephones in a professional manner

    Additional Notes:

    Other Job Duties as assigned

    Position reports directly to Top Engineering Executive

    Physical work location setting- Production in person, White Bear Lake- primary Hugo- secondary

    Hourly Rate of Pay- $ based on experience and qualifications.

    *40 hours per Week- Day Shift- Four 10 hours shifts: Monday-Thursday 5:30 am - 4:00 pm*
