We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with expertise in Aerospace & Defense to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing mechanical components and systems for various products. The candidate must have experience with AutoCAD, ANSYS, and/or Creo. This is a permanent position located in Kansas City, KS.

The Opportunity:

Design and develop mechanical components and systems for Aerospace & Defense products.

Create and modify detailed drawings using AutoCAD, ANSYS, and Creo.

Conduct mechanical analysis and simulations to ensure product performance and quality.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve mechanical design issues.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Participate in product testing and validation efforts.

Provide technical support to manufacturing and production teams.

Maintain project schedules and budgets.

What we are seeking:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

5+ years of experience in mechanical design within the Aerospace & Defense industry.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, ANSYS, and/or Creo.

Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and engineering fundamentals.

Ability to conduct mechanical analysis and simulations.

Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Strong problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.
