    Position Details:
    This is a full-time position, working Monday-Friday during standard business hours. Compensation will be based on the qualifications of applicant.

    Location:
    This is a REMOTE opportunity in the United States. Candidate must reside in the US and be work authorized. We are unable to offer visa sponsorship.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    We areseeking a Senior Front End Engineer to join our mixed local and remote team. This individual will design, architect, write, test, secure, and maintain code for oursuite of payments APIs and web applications.

    • Write high-quality (accurate, maintainable, secure, and well-documented) C# code.
    • Take an active interest in learning how our systems function and interact.
    • Follow our Software Development Lifecycle.
    • Assist in defining application development project plans, including scoping, scheduling, and implementation.
    • Develop Microsoft Blazor based responsive SPA based web applications. The responsive nature should render the web pages seamlessly across any target devices such as laptops, tablets, and mobile phones.
    • Analyze and review ASP.NET based applications to be able to migrate them to modern stack leveraging Microsoft Blazor.
    • Assist other software engineers, the IT Operations team, and business teams in resolving problems with application systems.
    • Communicate with vendor software support personnel to resolve issues encountered with vendor software.
    • Architect microservices framework, analyze design patterns and frameworks recommending suggested solution by collaborating with engineering stakeholders.
    • Coach and mentor all developers to adhere to secure coding practices with alignment to published Transcard design standards.
    • Design, run, and monitor software performance tests on new and existing programs for the purposes of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement, and general debugging.
    • Provide verbal and written project status updates.
    • Recommend and perform software improvements and upgrades.
    • Provide guidance to junior team members.
    • On-call availability on a rotating schedule with other IT personnel.
    • Overtime hours may be required to meet project deadlines or to assist in the resolution of production issues but are not the norm.
    Requirements

    • 5+ years of professional development experience using .NET technologies.
    • Solid experience in developing responsive web applications using Angular or React or JavaScript. Preferable candidates with Microsoft Blazor based applications.
    • Ability to analyze and recommend UI design patterns.
    • Understanding of how sensitive data (PCI, PII and PHI) can be captured securely from UI single page web app and sent securely to a backend application running in Azure.
    • Understanding of web application development and deployment using Azure Cloud.
    • Expert-level proficiency in the following languages and tools: .NET Framework, C#, SQL Server.
    • Solid and deep understanding of the following languages and tools: .NET Core, TFS, Microsoft Azure.
    • Extensive experience in designing enterprise high volume transactions deployed to a Cloud environment (Azure / AWS / Cloud).
    • We are a distributed team; as such, the ability to make yourself clearly understood both in writing and verbally is critical.

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Prior experience in the financial services industry.
    • ERP development experience.
    • SOAP and REST API experience.
    • SANS or other formal security training.
    • Direct experience using Microsoft Azure.
    • Experience building out data integration solutions.

    Education and/or Certifications:

    • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
