    Position Overview: Soliant, in collaboration with school districts in Wilmington, DE, is seeking a dedicated School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2024/2025 school year. The chosen candidate will provide essential speech and language services to support students' communication and academic success.     Responsibilities:

    • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to evaluate students' communication skills and needs.
    • Develop and implement individualized speech and language therapy plans to address students' goals and objectives.
    • Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders, focusing on improving articulation, language, fluency, and pragmatic skills.
    • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to integrate speech and language strategies into classroom activities and interventions.
    • Monitor student progress, collect data, and adjust therapy interventions as needed to promote communication and academic success.
    • Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and student data.

    Qualifications:

    • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program.
    • Valid Delaware Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility for licensure.
    • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
    • At least one year of recent experience working as a Speech-Language Pathologist, preferably in a school or pediatric setting.
    • Knowledge of speech and language disorders, assessments, and therapeutic techniques.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
