    Description
    Overview


    The Plant Accountant is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of a complete and accurate general ledger related to plant operations.

    Assist in the month-end close to ensure correct completion in a timely manner.

    This position will also assist plant operations by being responsible for the preparation and analysis of accounting reports related to manufacturing processing.

    Responsibilities


    • Complete monthly, quarterly and annual close processes.
    • Analyze monthly operating results for Holley groups to provide variance explanations.
    • Review operating expenses for Holley groups.
    • Acquire in-depth knowledge of Holley's products, manufacturing and quality standards.
    • Review of proper set of manufacturing paperwork including BOMs and routings yearly.
    • Assist in the revision of Current BOMs and Routings.
    • Identify manufacturing inefficiencies and assist with developing solutions.
    • Assist in determining actual costs of manufacturing.
    • Investigate cost issues and questions that arise.
    Qualifications


    • BS in Accounting
    • Ability to research, compile, analyze and interpret data
    • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office products
    • Interest in the manufacturing industry
