- Provide server and related infrastructure support to the Connecticut Department of Public Health State Laboratory, which is implementing new laboratory information management systems and a new high-performance computing device for genomic sequencing work
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining server hardware and operating systems
- dministration and management of VMWare infrastructure like vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, and virtual machines.
- Managing user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
- Monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring high availability.
- Implementing security measures, including backups, and data protection.
- Managing software updates, patches, and system upgrades.
