    SUMMARY OF POSITION

    The FP&A Director will play a critical leadership role in driving financial performance, strategic planning, and operational insight across the organization.

    This position partners closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to translate financial data into actionable business strategy.

    As a trusted finance leader, the FP&A Director will own budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and performance management processes while developing and mentoring analytical talent within the Finance team.

    Financial Planning & Analysis


    • Lead the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
    • Develop and maintain complex financial models supporting scenario analysis, growth initiatives, capital investments, and strategic decisions.
    • Own monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages for executive leadership.
    • Drive variance analysis and performance reviews across plants, product lines, and customers.
    • Conduct detailed profitability analysis by plant, product, and customer.
    Business Partnership & Strategy


    • Act as a strategic finance partner to Operations, Procurement, Sales, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing leadership.
    • Oversee the monthly Cash Flow reporting and forecasting process. Conduct analysis to understand major variances between actual and plan. Coordinate corrective actions and implement process improvements as needed.
    • Translate complex financial data into clear, compelling narratives that influence decision-making.
    • Identify risks and opportunities, providing proactive recommendations to improve margins and performance.
    • Support pricing, cost optimization, and operational efficiency initiatives.
    Performance Management & Reporting


    • Oversee and manage the continued development of monthly reporting & analysis to the Senior Leadership Team for the monthly Management Business Review.
    • Present monthly and quarterly performance results, variance analysis and financial insights to the executive team.
    • Develop, maintain, and enhance KPI dashboards and operational performance metrics.
    • Lead manufacturing variance analysis and reporting, highlighting root causes and improvement opportunities.
    • Continuously improve forecasting accuracy and financial insight generation.
    Leadership & Process Improvement


    • Manage, mentor, and develop FP&A and/or financial analyst team members.
    • Establish best practices, standardization, and process enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy.
    • Lead or support ad hoc analysis, strategic projects, and executive initiatives as required.
    • Assist in and support M&A acquisition and integration process to ensure seamless integration in Solina USA.
    • Support and lead special projects as required.
    REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE

    Typical qualifications would be:

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA, CPA, or CFA strongly preferred).
    • Minimum 12+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or corporate finance.
    • Demonstrated experience leading budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling processes.
    • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
    • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence finance and non-finance stakeholders.
    • Proven leadership capabilities and ability to operate in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
    • Able to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment; able to multi-task with proven follow-through and adherence to changing priorities and deadlines.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Experience in a manufacturing or food production environment.
    • Strong understanding of manufacturing cost structures and operational finance.
    • Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint; ERP and BI system experience preferred.
    • Ability to prioritize competing demands and meet tight deadlines.
    • Confident, collaborative leader with strong business judgment and customer-service orientation.
    • Demonstrated success acquiring, developing and leading top financial talent.
    • Comfortable with driving change within the team and out to the organization
