    Position Responsibilities:

    • Greeting patients professionally both in person and on the phone
    • Quickly answering or properly referring questions and issues
    • Optimizing provider schedules and patient satisfaction with efficient scheduling
    • Notifying providers of patient arrivals
    • Comforting patients by anticipating anxieties and effectively answering questions
    • Ensuring availability of treatment information by retrieving and updating patient records
    • Verifying financial records and collecting patient charges while filing and expediting third-party claims
    • Obtaining patient authorization for medical records releases (HIPAA compliance)
    • Maintaining office inventory and equipment by anticipating supply needs and expediting supply orders
    Measure and record vital signs and other duties as assignedRequired Qualifications:

    • Minimum of a High School diploma
    • 5 years relevant experience and/or training
    • 3 years experience with EMR or EHR systems
    • 1+ years experience with patient scheduling
    • Excellent organizational, communication and multi-tasking skills
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as accept direction
    Able to work collectively with administration, providers and team members Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience in insurance billing
    • Active CMA or CNA license
    • Highly ambitious with a "self-starter" personality
