    Tax Associate Private Equity & Hedge

    Tax Associates focus on tax compliance of private equity, Hedge Funds, venture capital and real estate funds, and serve as members of various client service teams.

    M ust possess technical knowledge of tax preparation and compliance related to pass-through entities.

    In addition to the preparation of tax returns, Tax Associates may assist Seniors/Managers in identifying client issues and research as they become more experienced.

    Tax Associates must possess and maintain strong written and oral presentation skills.

    5 -3 years of basic GAAP accounting principles and partnership taxation experience
    Knowledge of Federal taxation concepts and exposure to foreign informational reporting requirements and state tax returns is a plus
    Experience with BNA, CCH, Checkpoint or other tax research tools a plus, not required
    Experience with tax software (CCH /ProSystem , Fa stTax/ OneSource/ GoSystems)
    Strong computer skills with strengths in Microsoft Excel & other Microsoft Office products

    Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related degree and/or an advanced degree in Accounting, Taxation, JD or L.Be part of a dynamic and fast-paced team that makes a genuine impact on revenue and sales pipeline.
