    Job Title: Radiology Supervisor
    Location: Charlotte, NC 28210
    Length: Full Time
    Day Shift: Monday-Friday 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM / 40 Hr/ Week
    Pay range: $33 - $53/Hour.

    Description:
    • Supervises activities of personnel and provides adequate coverage of all areas daily. Supervision includes monitoring of staff's productivity levels, accuracy of exams, and appropriate patient care and monitoring.
    • Coordinates and organizes the patient flow throughout the department, prioritizing procedures and shifting workloads as needed. Monitors response times.
    • Verifies quality of exams on all procedures performed by staff. Participates in training of staff and conducts in-service education and staff meetings.
    • Maintains a high level of technical proficiency regarding system management. Is the technical leader for the section providing expertise, physician interaction, and direction for the section's diagnostic role in the department.
    • Assures staff keeps areas stocked for the next shift or day.
    • Maintains employee records on assigned staff. Documents PTO, reasons for absences and tardies. Documents errors and exceptional performance, complaints and compliments, and all conferences held with staff.
    • Performs payroll functions with documentation of overtime and additional hours worked by staff.
    • Performs evaluations on all technical personnel.
    • Maintains documentation of patient throughput, downtime of equipment, and supply charges.
    • Responsible for care and safety to patients while in Radiology. Assures patients are continuously monitored while waiting for transportation.
    Skills:
    • Minimum of 3 years' experience required.
    • 1-year supervisory experience preferred.
    • Requires leadership skills and an extensive knowledge of equipment and procedures.
    • Requires positive interpersonal skills in dealing with patients, families, physicians, radiologists, co-workers and administration. Requires excellent communication skills.
    Education/ License:
    • Graduate of an accredited two-year AMA and ARRT approved program in Radiologic Technology required.
    • ARRT certification required.
    • BLS (AHA) certification required
