    Description

    Function: Oversees the clinical component of the therapeutic day treatment program at Children's Harbor, including reviewing and approving assessments and Individual Service Plans (ISPs)

    Qualifications:

    • Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMHP, LMHP-R, LMHP-RP, or LMHP-S)
    • Manage caseload of up to but not exceeding 16 clients
    • Excellent verbal and writing skills
    • Conflict management skills
    • Organizational skills

    Responsibilities:

    • Receives and approves/denies referrals
    • Collects and maintains all required data concerning referrals
    • Oversees management of client and personnel records
    • Reviews and approves client assessments and ISPs
    • Participates in client discharge planning
    • Identifies and resolves problems with service delivery issues
    • Applies client feedback to improve services
    • Resolves client/family complaints regarding staff performance and services rendered
    • Ensures harmonious, productive work environment
    • Assigns caseloads
    • Assigns and monitors work schedules, to ensure quality and timely delivery of services
    • Review and approve the work of LMHP-eligible providers and provide clinical supervision
    • Trains new and existing staff in proper operational policies, procedures, and function
    • Ensures ongoing training is attended and all employees are up to date on required training
    • Facilitates a minimum of one staff meeting a month with staff and meets with staff on an ongoing basis to stay informed of changes affecting operations
    • Observes and formally evaluates staff performance to ensure quality service and compliance with agency policies and procedures
    • Documents staff problems and performance issues as they arise including resolving staff disagreements and disciplinary actions
    • Assists with budget preparations
    • Ensures compliance with all governmental laws and regulations, as well as agency policies and procedures
    • All other duties as required by the Executive Director
    • Maintains confidentiality of all client, family, and staff information
