    About the Opportunity

    JOB SUMMARY

    The Office of Experiential and Continuing Professional Education (OECPE) Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experience Program Manager reports to the Assistant Dean for Experiential and Continuing Professional Education in the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (SOPPS) within Bouvé College of Health Sciences (BCHS). The Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experience Program Manager for the SOPPS is responsible for providing administrative, accreditation, and general office support to the Assistant Dean for Experiential and Continuing Professional Education, students and to faculty.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor's degree, however, Master's degree or equivalent preferred
    • Minimum of 3 years' experience in an automated office environment using computer-based systems
    • Microsoft Office – advanced skills
    • Exhibits excellent typing skills and knowledge of current office practices and business machine operations.
    • Proficient in database management
    • Attention to detail.
    • Demonstrates ability to work independently and within a team environment.
    • Prioritizes tasks, organizes time and works with frequent interruption.
    • Demonstrates critical thinking skills in problem solving and decision- making.
    • Communicates effectively and appropriately according to audience (e.g., students, faculty, staff and the public), in both oral and written forms.
    • Uses effective communication skills taking into consideration body language, filters, listening, paraphrasing, and questions with stakeholders of diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds.
    • Takes initiative to resolve problems and implements continuous quality improvement strategies.
    • Builds on basic learning and carries it from one situation to another.
    • Maintains proper appearance and personal conduct for the employee's particular job.
