    Description

    C & B Equipment, a dynamic family-owned business with over 30 years of experience, is currently seeking a Service Technician to join their team. This individual will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and maintaining customer and/or dealer-owned agricultural equipment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct diagnostics and repairs on agricultural farm equipment.
    • Participate in essential training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
    • Complete all necessary job notes in relation to work assignments.
    • Account for time and materials used accurately.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of John Deere and competitor products.
    • Keep a tidy work area and perform duties in an organized manner.
    • Maintain the condition of vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment.
    • Promote and recommend service department offerings to customers to enhance safety and satisfaction.
    • Adhere to all safety protocols and work in a secure manner.
    • Assist with additional assigned duties as needed.

    Requirements:

    • Preferred: Associates degree or higher in Diesel Technology or related field.
    • Ability to meet physical demands required for the job functions.
    • Capability to work effectively in a team setting.
    • Knowledge of repair techniques for machinery, engines, and related equipment.
    • Experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
    • Critical thinking skills and resourcefulness in task completion.
    • Openness to learning and adapting to new technologies.
    • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
    • Valid driver's license.
