Description
About The Role
CaaStle is looking for a full-time, onsite leader to join our team as a Senior Operations Manager in our Fulfillment Center in Groveport, Ohio.
Reporting to the Vice President, Operations, you will drive consistency and accountability, implement company and building initiatives, provide solutions for improving performance and inspire collaboration with partners throughout the company.
The Senior Operations Manager helps develop the Fulfillment Center management team and, through them, drives succession planning and talent/performance management.
Along with that, you will support and create a culture of associate engagement and works to lead that culture, and share responsibility for the creation and oversight of the DC's operational and financial goals alongside the management team.
What You'll DoDirect a customer-centric team and develop direct reports through coaching, mentoring, performance management, talent management and succession planning.
Lead, motivate, and promote communication and collaboration with the direct and indirect reporting employees across the operations functions.
Build a culture centered around quality, productivity, engagement, teamwork, and employee/management development.
Maintain level of service requirements throughout the operational process through learning and ownership of collaborative solutions with our vendors, buying partners, laundry and order fulfillment center.
Lead Operations and FC teams to achieve high quality results and productivity, communicate strategy and team goals and track performance against those goalsPartner with senior leaders and their teams to develop strategies and activities that foster growth, innovation, and organizational effectiveness.
This includes taking ownership for designing, building and implementing programs, processes and tools to help set managers and employees up for success.
Compile reporting and maintain building budgetPartner with business leadership and the Human Resource Business Partner to identify opportunities to attract, develop and retain people to achieve their potential.
Grow overall building operations through daily reporting in quality and performance.Report and speak to operational misses and develop actions for improvement.
Assist with the communication and rollout of updated or new HR programs and policies.
Foster an environment in which diverse backgrounds are respected and valued
We'd Love For You To Have
Experience: 4+ years of experience of increasing leadership responsibility, experience as a leader in a distribution/fulfillment/warehouse environment
Education:
Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or other related field.
Ability to navigate through industry and organizational changes.
A passion for change management.
Ability to work collaboratively towards common goals with teams across the organization.
People oriented leader with compassion, vision and exceptional communication skills
Ability to partner with different levels of the organization.
