- Promotes a safe and functional work environment by maintaining corporate vehicles, grounds and office buildings.
- Performs or organizes outside yard care (snow, leaf, rubbish removal).
- Maintains the Corporate offices and labs in good working order by completing minor repairs.
- Cooperates with the maintenance staff for major projects.
- Uses basic manual tools. Assists employees in office, labs and manufacturing areas with relocation.
- Maintains corporate vehicles.
- Maintains proper stock levels for cleaning supplies and paper products for office and lab.
- Enhances efficiency through good communication skills and organization.
- Checks corporate services request file for requests and performs tasks required to complete request.
- Understands priorities set by team manager.
- Remembers and follows written/verbal instructions.
- Answers inquiries; makes verbal report; provides clear information.
- Responsible for keeping supervisor informed of work-related problems and progress of assignments.
- Responsible for sharing information on schedule and/or requests with the other Corporate Services Team members.
- Completes request form for each task, keep a daily log.
- Cooperates with all Franklin employees, particularly IS for moves and Maintenance for facilities upkeep.
- Observes all safety and environmental guidelines while handling products, raw materials and wastes.
- Serve as a corporate security representative/lead backup when needed.
- Works closely with Security to ensure full coverage 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
- High school diploma or equivalent with a satisfactory work record.
- Proven experience working with the public.
- Ability to maintain good personal and departmental organization and make independent decisions.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills interacting with people and building positive relationships
- Knowledge of computers and Windows operating system.
- Valid Ohio driver's license and clean driving record required.

Working Conditions
This position requires frequent walking, standing and lifting up to 25 lbs. Additional lifting of heavier weights, as well as other physical activities (as detailed below) are required on an occasional basis. 0-10% of the time it is required that this position be in the manufacturing areas, subjected to extreme noise and temperature variation. When in such environments, this position is required to wear the appropriate eye, ear, head, and foot protection (PPE). Minimal day travel is required on a daily basis to run errands, and to go to the post office and the Groveport Warehouse location. Overnight travel may also be required less than 5% of the time.
