- Position Summary
- Responsible for performing technical work and management of daily operations, systems and services in the Cardiopulmonary Stress Lab. Including preparing and performing Stress Tests under the guidance of a provider, EKGs, application of cardiac monitors, application of home sleep studies and management of EKG Systems.
- Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- License/Certifications: Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) or equivalent (ex: Medical Assistant, EMT, Paramedic). Current BLS required. A NH Medical Technician License is required for NH Medical Assistants.
- Experience: 12 months' experience as an ECG technician with training in arrhythmia recognition or any equivalent combination of experience and training preferred.
- Knowledge of fundamental theory, principles, practices, techniques and equipment used in all aspects of electrocardiographic testing.
- Ability to organize and accomplish multiple tasks and to have the flexibility to meet changing demands on a daily basis.
