Tier II IT Support Specialist - Tallahassee, United States - LHH
Description
LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking an IT Support Specialist II with our client based in Tampa Bay.This role is mainly during normal business hours. However, some local travel overtime and occasional evenings / weekends may be required
Responsibilities:
Delivers Tier I and Tier II assistance, successfully addressing inquiries when feasible.
Serve as the second point of contact for individuals seeking technical assistance over the phone, email, or chat.
Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions.
Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers.
Walk the customer through the problem-solving process.
Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel.
Provide accurate information on IT products or services.
Record events and problems and their resolution in logs.
Follow-up and update customer status and information.
Pass on any feedback or suggestions by customers to the appropriate internal team.
Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures.
Qualifications:
3+ years of IT Support (Tier I, Tier II) experience is required
IT Certifications preferred (Network+, Microsoft Admin, A+, Security+)
O365 and SharePoint experience
Access Control Experience preferred
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
Compensation:
$24/hr. Rate will be commensurate with experience and qualifications
