Labor Coordinator - Streamwood

The Labor Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and overseeing daily temporary employees.
This position supports the HR team on the labor personal side by acting as the liaison between staffing agencies & the company, the liaison between temporary employees and department managers.
,+Qualifications
+- Experience in manufacturing or a warehouse setting preferred but not necessary
- Basic knowledge of Word Excel Outlook
- High level initiative and follow through
- Detail oriented and great communication skills
- Bilingual English/Spanish required
- Coordinate assign temps to a line/area/position for the day set up new temps with equipment train on GMP process otherCommunicate with staffing agencies leadership via emailWork closely with staffing agencies to maintain labor efficiency within staffing budget meet production goalsManage call out line record all call offsCommunicate with management leadership on regular basis to report daily employee call offs objectives transfer requestRun send out daily reports such as punch detail report headcount report etcWalk production floor to take headcount of temporary employees verify positions working each dayLog hours worked for temporary employees update Attendance Point Tracker per call offsAssist invoice verification from staffing agenciesAssist budget maintenance tasks ensure tempory emloyees budget under controlAbility understand follow enforce company policies such SOPs safety etcPerform training neededAssist issues related tempory emloyees such transfer requests conversions complaintsAttend daily production meeting meetings needPerform other duties assigned
