Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center is seeking to hire a Full Time Cat Scan Technologist

Education:
Trade School graduate from Rad Tech program
Shift:
Permanent weekend night shift (Fri-7pm to 8am/Sat-7pm to 8am/Sun-7pm to 6am.
Registry:
ARRT is required + CT Registry in ARRT
Experience:
minimum 1 to 2 years of hospital experience using GE scanners.
Performs Computed Tomography (CT) and CT guided interventional procedures under the direction of a qualified physician; provides patient and family education; operates equipment safely; completes department documentation; maintains all equipment to be clean and operational; maintains adequate supply inventory for performing examinations.

Advanced CT registry in ARRT or CNMT to be obtained within two (2) years of hire (to include mergers and acquisitions).
Qualifications:
TS - Trade School Graduate: Radiologic Technology (Required)
ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) - Certifications - Other/National, Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI, Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) - Certifications - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
