The Host is the first and last impression of the guest experience. This role sets the tone for genuine hospitality from the moment a guest enters until the moment they leave.The Host warmly greets each guest with enthusiasm, professionalism, and sincerity ensuring an immediate sense of welcome. They clearly articulate greetings, farewells, and guests' needs with confidence and authenticity. The Host manages the pace and flow of the dining room with intention balancing guest satisfaction server rotation operational efficiency assign suitable tables based on guest needs party size server availability to support a seamless service flow accurately quote wait times manage reservations coordinate seating through the host stand system inform guests of current specials promotions upcoming events to enhance their dining experience communicate clearly with servers bartenders managers to ensure smooth transitions consistent service open doors for guests entering exiting as part of creating a polished gracious experience handle cash gift card transactions related to gift certificates go orders accuracy integrity maintain cleanliness presentation host stand entry area dining room including periodic restroom checks assistance table resets needed monitor overall atmosphere lighting music cleanliness energy to ensure welcoming upscale environment uphold Red Door brand standards personal appearance spirit Leave your troubles at door.
