We seek people who dare to try, because growth and innovation require courage. Join us and be a part of digitalizing an entire industry.

By joining us you will contribute to our global vision of making cities more liveable by developing and executing government relations strategies that influence parking policies, promote innovation, introduce solutions to improve urban life, and achieve sustainable business growth.

    The role

As our Group Government Relations Manager at ParkMobile, you will play a key role in developing and implementing a range of strategies and tactics to navigate complex North American government regulations, public opinion, and societal expectations.

You will promote and protect the EasyPark Group's brand and reputation through proactive government relations activities.

Although the role is primarily North America-focused, our Public Affairs team works globally, so from time to time you may also be required to provide government relations expertise and support to colleagues in other international markets served by EasyPark Group.

    In this role you will:

    • Develop and implement cluster-specific North American strategies, focused on influencing government decision-making and public opinion, and building relationships with key stakeholders
    • Recruit, onboard, and strategically support our network of government relations agencies and lobbyists in North America
    • Collaborate with the Group PR Managers to ensure alignment and coordination of PR efforts across regions
    • Partner with the ParkMobile Country Director, Marketing team, and PR agency, to develop activities in line with our global strategy
    • Educate and guide agencies and the ParkMobile Country Director about how to maximize government relations when it overlaps with PR to achieve joint objectives
    • Work closely with the Marketing, Distribution, and Executive teams
    • Advise senior leadership on government relations issues, and potential risks, opportunities, and new/changing policies in the North American parking and transportation industry
    • Support the ParkMobile Country Director with tools and messaging at meetings, conferences, and public events to advocate for EasyPark Group's interests and promote our position
    • Monitor and analyze political, legislative, and regulatory developments in North America that may impact our operations and reputation
    • Support the Group PR Managers in monitoring our global reputation, including responding to media inquiries and developing messages in relation to crisis communications
    • Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging political issues in North America
    • Provide government relations support to other countries on an ad-hoc basis, in line with business requirements
    Your background

We don't think one size fits all, but a successful candidate might have the following:

    • 8+ years of government relations experience
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (and a second language would be beneficial)
    • Experience of running successful campaigns, ideally overseeing and delivering global or North American strategies
    • Network of contacts with business and civic organizations, think tanks, governmental associations, industry associations, and other relevant stakeholders
    • Proven track record of successfully developing and implementing government relations strategies
    • Accomplished at upskilling and coaching senior leadership about government relations, and vetting new recruits
    • Solid leadership skills to build a vibrant and engaged government relations community
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify opportunities, and anticipate and mitigate potential risks
    • Experience in crisis management and media relations
    • Ability to work independently and effectively in a matrix organization, managing multiple priorities and deadlines
    • Experience of managing agencies and budgets
    • Strong project management skills

This is an Atlanta-based hybrid role; however, you will work closely with EasyPark Group HQ in Stockholm, where the Chief Communications & Public Affairs Officer is based.

Some domestic and international travel will be required.

What you'll enjoy about joining our Team:
