Currently, we are seeking a Project Manager to join our Fire Protection Group. The Project manager is responsible for running multiple large and complex projects.

They work with coordination, fabrication, field, safety, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure projects are completed safely, on-time, and under budget.

A project manager works with the field superintendent and foreman to maximize labor productivity while promoting the highest level of quality.

They build strong client relationships and promote the Cannistraro brand.

In this role, you will:
Project Management

Develops the project's budget, coordination schedule, and schedule of values in conjunction with the Accounting, Coordination, and Estimating groups.
Reviews vendor, subcontractor and in-house shop drawings and submittals to assure they are compliant with the project documents.
Reviews bids from vendors/subcontractors; negotiate and award after properly vetting scope.
Reviews subcontractor manpower & schedule requirements and updates the company's plans as needed.
Coordinates and releases material/equipment deliveries to coincide with project schedule requirements
Attends project management meetings
Reviews submittals, subcontracts, and purchase orders
Provides accurate monthly job cost projections, cash flow projections, and manpower projections with input from the project foreman and outside superintendent
Submits project monthly billings
Prepares change order request estimates and submit to the client through ERP software.
Resolves contract disputes with vendors, GC's & subcontractors. Escalates complex issues to the Project Executive when necessary
Oversees the completion of the project closeout process and binder of O&M packages
Acts as the prime contractor when applicable.
Acts in a design-assist capacity when applicable.
Obtains as-built drawing from JCC & subcontractors, work with coordinators to submit as-built drawings
Field Support

Provides safety leadership role with all site/foreman interaction
Employee Development

Train and mentor Assistant Project Managers and co-ops
Sales/Client Relations

Participate in corporate / sales presentations
Assist Accounting with payment collections on applicable projects
Schedule and provide owner training on projects if necessary
A successful candidate will have:

6 to 10 years of related experience.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field.
Demonstrated written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to problem solve.
Demonstrated ability to manage shifting priorities
Comprehensive knowledge of MA building codes and standards as they relate to Fire Protection.
Knowledge of Fire Protection, mechanical systems, and construction industry
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Project, and Bluebeam
Knowledge of Navisworks and CMiC is preferred but not required

Physical Requirements

Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally (Occasionally: activity or condition exists up to 1/3 of the time) and/or a negligible amount of force frequently (Frequently: activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time) to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.

Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
