Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Senior Inventory Accountant. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $52 to $55 per hour.


Job Description:
Book inventory and margin related journal entries
Prepare related Balance Sheet Reconciliations
Prepare margin analysis packages for management
Explain variances to budget/ forecast
Oversee the financial portion of the company's Fair Trade program
Assist in Global inventory purchase forecasting
Inventory reserve adjustments and analysis
Overhead and standard cost variance analysis
Research and reconcile inventory variances in integrated systems
Audit, verify, and administer inventory movement
Document system glitches
Assist with year-end financial audit and special projects


Requirements:
Experience in accounting, preferably focused on cost and inventory accounting
Experience with large enterprise ERP and related tools for reporting and analysis
Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills

Microsoft D365, TM1, Power BI and Tableau a plus

Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills


Experience:
Bachelor's degree in business, accounting or related field and a minimum of 5 years' relevant experience
