The Opportunity:
As an IT Systems Administrator you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and security of company intranets and computer systems.
Their duties include installing antivirus or malware protection software, responding to employee concerns through the ticketing system, or drafting documents to help employees use computer systems.
In addition, coordinating with company leadership to determine new technologies that could enhance their company's computer systems.Key Responsibilities Include:
Act as 1st and 2nd Level Support for all user issues with a 90%+ successful resolution rate
Maintain essential IT infrastructure, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware
Create trouble tickets and also work open tickets the helpdesk queue
Troubleshoot issues, execute a course of action, test the issue to see if it is resolved, and reply back to the customer with the results
Overcommunication to users on progress, status, and next steps
Basic server administration (Understanding errors, restarting of services, etc)
Maintain knowledge of all proprietary tools and systems to ensure proper handing of customer issues
Perform network and security monitoring
Submit new KB articles for solved items that do not have one
Ability to help users resolve client side issues as well as understand and document systems/network issues
Respond to customers in a timely manner
VIP priority support
New User Provisioning
User role permission modifications
Employee Exit Processing
Install/Move/Add/Change
Computers and other Peripherals
Perform Monthly Patching
Audit/Verify backups
Perform user/license auditing
Troubleshoot OS and application issues
Large Printer/Copier Troubleshooting
Identify, evaluate and react to security threats
Occasionally run network cables
Training End users on use of technology, and best practices
Meaningful Contributor in IT projects
Other duties as assigned
What you bring:
Experience:
Proven success in an IT role
Must be able to solve 90%+ of help desk tickets with little to no escalation.
Proficient knowledge of an array of various technologies, including Active Directory, Office365, cyber security, PC hardware & software, virtualization, cloud, networks, routers, switches, TCP/IP, VLANs, VPN.
Strong Problem Solving / Troubleshooting Abilities with prior experience in a similar role.Excellent interpersonal skills, communication (written and verbal), and organization skills
2+ years of database, network administration, or system administration experience
Experience with or knowledge of programming languages and operating systems, current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, systems performance-monitoring tools, active directories, virtualization, HTTP traffic, content delivery, and caching
Experience in project management, application design and integration, and cloud computing
Expertise in analyzing and repairing large-scale distributed systems; creating volumes and assigning them to servers; and remote replication.
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with users and coworkers.
Excellent customer service focus
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in information technology or computer science
A knack for quickly understanding various technology applications and systems.
A demonstrated a desire to learn the newest technology and trends continually.
Possess a positive, can-do attitude.
Knowledge of ERP Systems (Epicor) administration
Professional certifications a plus

Clinton, MA
This is a full-time, permanent position.
This position is eligible for the employer-sponsored benefits listed under "Why Vitesse?" This position is considered exempt (paid on a salaried basis).
Base Pay Range:
$66,000-$88,000 based on qualifications and experience.
Vitesse performs work controlled by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These statutes require the protection of technical data and products.
The regulations require that such data not be disclosed in written, oral, or visual form to any foreign national without prior export authorization from the Department of State.
