    Job DescriptionSalary:

    OUR PURPOSE

    At % Arabica we take pride in bringing the world together through coffee by delivering exceptional coffee beverages and a premium experience. We are currently accepting applications for our Barista position to help contribute to that experience in the near future.

    Baristas are responsible for supporting the store in achieving this vision through friendly, efficient, individualized service. They understand the importance of customer satisfaction and bring to work a positive, and enthusiastic attitude. They are responsible for ensuring that they uphold all brand standards related to quality and cleanliness. The Barista understands their role as part of a team and actively supports their coworkers and leaders when needed. They actively work towards furthering their coffee education and knowledge and fulfill all other duties as assigned by leaders and trainers.

    This position can be part-time or full-time, reporting to the Store Manager. This is for our Grove location. Come check out our vibe at 189 The Grove Dr. Unit KS-02 Los Angeles, California 90036

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Provides exceptional customer service when performing all duties throughout the store.
    • Upholds product quality standards through beverage and food service as applicable.
    • Follows all % Arabica drink recipes and procedures.
    • Maintains a clean working environment.
    • Performs all tasks and actions with a sense of urgency.
    • Exudes a positive attitude and is able to maintain professional and balanced relationships with all coworkers.
    • Support and encourage any training and development for new hires.
    • Continuously evaluate and seek to improve self and store through "kaizen" mentality.
    • Ensure compliance with all food safety, health, and sanitary regulations.
    • Ensure a clean working environment is maintained by all.
    • Ensure proper cash handling if applicable.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Experience in food and beverage and/or customer service.
    • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Able to get to % Arabica locations promptly when scheduled.
    • Must be able to work all day parts during hours of operation, weekends, and holidays.
    • Able to lift 40 lbs.
    • Strong communication skills.
    • Adaptable and resilient in a wide variety of circumstances.
