- Responsible for various aspects of financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely completion of financial statements, reconciliations, and other relevant reports.
- Manage and maintain the company's general ledger, ensuring proper coding and classification of transactions in accordance with GAAP.
- Develop and implement internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets and maintain compliance with accounting standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Operations, and Sales, to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement. Present findings and recommendations to senior management.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns, including sales tax, income tax, and other regulatory requirements.
- Manage relationships with external auditors, facilitating the annual audit process and addressing any audit findings or recommendations.
- Lead the preparation of budgets and forecasts, working closely with department heads to align financial goals with strategic objectives.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible experience in accounting.
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
