We are looking for a Title Curative/Title Clearance Specialist responsible for handling large volumes of files for residential real estate transactions, nationally.

Your specific duties will include:

• Reading and clearing purchase and refinance transactions; for residential transactions.
• Examining abstracts, leases, contracts, and other legal documents to determine title insurance and legal issues in connection with title insurance commitments/reports.
• Working with title agencies, clients, and attorneys representing parties to a real estate transaction to clear title exceptions and prepare the title for closing.
• Preparing and/or reviewing both Owner and Loan Policies for appropriate exceptions.
• Reviewing and knowledge of Title Bills/Invoices.

Specific qualifications for the position include:

• 2+ years of Title Curative/Title Clearance experience is required.
• Experience working with residential real estate title files on a national basis is required.
• Must have excellent customer service skills to communicate with clients, salespeople, attorneys, and underwriters.
• Experience with Surveys, Survey Readings, Real Estate Taxes, Recordings, and Escrows.
• Experience with National transactions.
