- 24 Hour call coverage
- Clinical Information:
- Hospital setting
- Patients ages: Adult
- Average 11 patients per day
- 3-7 Deliveries per day
- Support staff: facility nursing unit staffing
- EMR: Meditech for inpatient, eCW for outpatient
- On-site inpatient rounding and evening call coverage
- May need to be available to field emergent questions from two office NPs
- Office NPs may request that the locums be prepared to handle a delivery, c-section or other complications requiring the patient to present in the inpatient setting
- Scenarios will likely be rare
- Cover ER consults, floor consults, L&D, deliveries, emergent procedures, etc.
- Must be available by phone within 5 minutes of being called by hospital
- If needed on-site, must present on-site within 15 minutes of phone call
- Required:
- DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active
- Current Flu Vaccine
- Must be fully vaccinated for Covid 19
- Exemptions only allowed for religious or medical reasons, once approved by the facility.
- Board Certified/ Board Eligible
- Active VA License
