- Provide treatment and consultation in the areas of motor function and development, activities of daily living, oral-motor dysfunction and dysphagia.
- Assess the need for adaptive equipment, seating and positioning systems and therapy intervention as needed.
- Maintain accurate records on treatments and procedures.
- Perform care consistent with the scope of licensure and in accordance with the facility's policies and procedures.
- Work effectively with fellow medical staff and treatment team members.
- Adhere to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures while delivering optimal patient care.
- Comply with all best practice standards for services to people with intellectual disabilities.
- Any other duties as assigned.
