    Description

    The Corporate Financial Reporting Group is seeking an energetic, strategic, and analytical individual to join the Company's external financial reporting function. This individual will drive the company's compliance with all public financial reporting responsibilities. This individual will be part of our financial management and will interact with financial personnel throughout the Company.

    YOUR DAY-DAY:

    • Review the consolidation of the company's operations in the US and Mexico
    • Prepare and review quarterly financial reporting packages for Univision Communications, Inc. and TelevisaUnivision, Inc. prepared under United States generally accepted accounting principles ('US GAAP').
    • Prepare and review offering memorandums in connection with equity and debt transactions in the US markets.
    • Work with management, the R2R and FR teams in Mexico and the US, internal auditors, external legal counsel, and external auditors to fulfill all our obligations.
    • Work with the Communications Department and Investor Relations on quarterly financial press releases.
    • Work with management, external legal, and external auditors to develop and enhance the Company's financial reporting disclosures.
    • Prepare consolidated analyses for various balance sheet accounts including debt, derivatives, intangible assets, and investments.
    • Assist in the preparation of the Company's debt compliance reporting requirements.
    • Assist in the preparation of Earnings per Share ('EPS').
    • Assist in the analysis and implementation of new accounting standards.
    • Assist in the preparation of the International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS) bridge required for dual reporting purposes.
    • Assist in the following process relating to debt and earnings per share for SOX control purposes.
    YOU HAVE:
    • Candidate should have 5-7 years of experience in consolidating foreign operations.
    • Candidate should have 5-7 years of relevant financial reporting experience.
    • CPA desirable, with strong US GAAP skills. IFRS skills.
    • Effective communication
    • Detail-oriented and attentive to scheduled milestones.
    • Ability to partner with other corporate functions.
    • Ability to speak/write/understand Spanish.
    • Flexibility, as there will be workweeks that require more than 40 hours to ensure the Company's reporting requirements are met.
