Amentum is seeking a Junior Engineer to provide support to NSWCDD B40 / B60 Divisions.The ideal candidate will be apart of our technical work force to support and grow our engineering capabilities as well as support our customers in the maritime industry.
You will be welcomed into a diverse group of expertise and engineers that are dedicated to mentor and support our entire work staff at all levels.
You will expand your knowledge in the engineering field.
Perform systems engineering to support development, acquisition and evolutions to field advanced concepts on Navy and/or Marine Corps Radar Systems.
Execute radar engineering evolutions on one or more of the following systems: Dual Band Radar (DBR), Ground Air Task Oriented Radar (G/ATOR), AN/SPY-1, AN/SPY-6, Enhanced Coherent Data Collection System (ECDCS), EO/IR systems or other sensor / radar systems.
Apply knowledge of engineering practices and principles necessary to assess advanced sensor / radar systems concepts and specifications; develop system testing concepts / approaches and participate in system testing evolutions.

a)A Bachelor's degree from an a school of engineering with at least one curriculum accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) as a professional engineering curriculum in one of the following fields:
Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineer, Electronics Engineering
b)
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in one of the following fields of study:
Mathematics, Computer Science, or Physics
c)
A Master's degree from an accredited college or university in one of the following fields of study:
Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineer, Electronics Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Physics
Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET US Government Clearance

US Citizenship is required to obtain a SECRET Clearance.
