    We are looking for a Warehouse Receiving Material Handler to join our team in one of today's most exciting technologies. This role will report to Warehouse Manager and based in San Jose, CA. Monday- Friday, 8:00 am-4:30 pm, overtime daily, weekends, holidays and during business spikes as needed to support company commitments

    Role and Responsibilities:

    • Daily receiving of material into warehouse inventory
    • Complete necessary transactions to receive material into Oracle
    • Manages discrepancies for "problem" shipments by following up with appropriate departments
    • Establish standards and procedures for receiving processes with continuous improvement.
    • Maintain a clean and orderly workplace
    • Work with the purchasing team and AP team to fix issues regarding receipts
    • Represent the warehouse/receiving team as a member of the P2P team improving vendor payment issues
    • Manages drop shipments provided by the buyers to insure payment to our vendors.
    • Process 3rd party, Inter-org, Outside Processing Receipts (OSP), Internal Sales Order Receipts (ISO), Advanced Ship Notice (ASN)
    • Operate forklift to perform job duties as identified
    • Assist with loading/unloading of materials from truck
    • Prioritize work by interacting with area leads in shipping, receiving, transportation
    • Responsible for quality control. No damaged product is sent out
    • Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs)
    • Put away stock into correct inventory locations as directed
    • Process material requests, pull parts and adjust system inventories
    • Perform other duties as required and identified by warehouse supervisor
    • This role is supervised, but able to make decisions on assignments based on current workloads.
    • Follows guidelines established for department operations and knows when to elevate problems to Supervisor
    • Take initiative to lead problem solving and continuous improvement efforts

    **Skills and Experience: **

    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
    • High School degree required; Associate's degree or better preferred
    • Maintain a clean and orderly work area, perform 5S when necessary
    • Knowledge of shipping/receiving equipment, process and procedures
    • Good communication, team-building and customer service skills
    • Demonstrates skills in the use of computerized spreadsheets, Oracle, email and word-processing programs
    • Experience (3 year minimum) in a warehouse and/or shipping/spare parts environment
    • Experience (3 year minimum) with Oracle database utilizing inventory, receiving & cycle count

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to lift up to 45 pounds required
