This onsite opportunity is a CNC Programmer position at Jabil Elmira, a manufacturing and assembly facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provides technical support for existing processes, including troubleshooting and failure analysis of milling machines, lathes, EDMs and other CNC equipment.
• Performs programming, qualification, implementation and debugging of CNC programming and functional framework for new and updated machining processes.
• Evaluates machine performance using measurement techniques such as manual gaging and automated methods.

• Data driven decision making to improve quality through optimization of cutting tooling designs on the shop floor by implementing & re-implementing tools based on process capabilities across similar product types , eliminating excess inventory holding spaces ( so that production doesn't slow down) , improving cost savings (better planning results in lower extra costs).
