Experience deploying SELinux on Red Hat OS
Cisco CCNA preferred. Prefer someone with experience deploying and configuring Cisco Firewall and VPN services for CMMC compliance.
Familiarity with LogRhythm, Carbon Black App Control, Duo 2FA, and other security related applications.

Job Description

As a Senior Network Security Engineer, you'll be instrumental in strengthening our defenses and securing digital assets, requiring expertise in network security, deployment of NIST security controls, and CMMC level 2 compliance for DoD contractors.

Responsibilities:

• Develop secure network architectures to protect against advanced threats.

• Deploy necessary security and logging configurations for CMMC compliance across Windows and Red Hat OS environments.

• Conduct regular security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability analyses to identify and mitigate potential threats.

• Manage and configure firewalls and VPNs, with a preference for experience in Cisco Firewall and VPN services, aligning with CMMC compliance requirements.

• Leverage expertise in deploying SELinux on Red Hat OS to enhance system security posture.

• Monitor network traffic for suspicious activities and manage responses to security incidents promptly.

• Work closely with IT and development teams to ensure that network security standards are seamlessly integrated into all projects.

• Responsible for the implementation, documentation, and internal audits of CMMC level 2 compliance. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for security procedures and policies.

Qualifications:

• t least 7 years of experience in network security, with a minimum of five years specifically deploying NIST security controls.

• Proven experience with the implementation, documentation, and auditing of CMMC level 2 compliance for a DoD contractor.

• Strong understanding of network infrastructure and security architectures.

• Proficient in managing firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems. Experience deploying needed security configurations for CMMC compliance on Windows and Red Hat OS is required.

• Familiarity with LogRhythm, Carbon Black App Control, Duo 2FA, and other security-related applications.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

• Cisco CCNA certification is preferred. Other relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCNP Security) are also advantageous.
