    Accounting Manager

    to join their team

    Salary/Hourly Rate

    $75,000 – $90,000

    Position Overview


    The Accounting Manager will manage the monthly reporting tasks including accounts payable, month-end journal entries, sales tax returns, balance sheet reconciliations, financial reporting, and account analysis.

    The Accounting Manager will work with the Controller and alongside other business unit leaders.

    Responsibilities Of The Accounting Manager

    Preparing, recording, and supervising monthly close responsibilities for assigned business units. Responsibilities include journal entries, account reconciliations, roll forwards, accruals, intercompany transactions, and other supporting schedules
    Work-In-Process schedules and working closing with project managers to ensure the accuracy of project work completed, estimated costs, and variances
    Reviewing budgeted cost versus actual cost and providing explanations for significant variances
    Providing oversight and supporting a/p, a/r, payroll, and administration
    Identifying opportunities for improvement by reviewing current processes for automation, consolidation, or reengineering

    Qualifications For The Accounting Manager

    5+ years of experience in accounting within a corporate environment
    Construction experience with WIP schedules, lien releases, and NTOs
    Knowledge of US GAAP reporting
    ERP system experience with applications such as Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, and PeopleSoft
    Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

    Education Requirements

    Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required
