Hospital system in southern New Jersey is adding a Nurse Practitioner (APRN) to their hospitalist team With a growing population in the area post-COVID, the program is expanding to accommodate this new shift.
Details:
Responsibilities:
Conduct diagnostic evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients
- Perform procedures such as catheterization and aseptic techniques
- Administer basic life support when necessary
- Provide behavioral health support and counseling to patients
- Manage acute pain and provide inhalation therapy
- Assist with dialysis procedures
Qualifications:
Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Proficiency in acute care, pediatrics, and behavioral health
- Strong skills in aseptic techniques and catheterization
- Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare team
