- Development: Leading both internal developers and external resources.
- Quality Assurance: Managing a team of quality assurance engineers specializing in automated, manual, and exploratory testing.
- Strategy & Planning (40%):
- Ensure development projects are aligned with organizational goals and business requirements.
- Provide leadership for the Application Development team.
- Establish application design standards, training plans, and foster an Agile environment.
- Collaborate closely with senior management and business sponsors to meet client expectations.
- Acquisitions and Development (30%):
- Coordinate the development and deployment of new applications and enhancements.
- Research software products and services, conduct feasibility studies, and ensure software integration meets requirements.
- Collaborate with various team members in testing new software programs.
- Operational Management (30%):
- Provide direction to the application development team.
- Offer technical leadership to project managers and programmers.
- Establish budgets, review project requirements, and enforce quality assurance best practices.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, Master's preferred.
- 11-13 years of related work experience with 10+ years in leadership roles.
