Overview

Has overall responsibility for a single manufacturing facility " Directs all aspects of production activity at the assigned plant to ensure that the desired quantities and quality of products are manufactured on schedule in a safe manner at minimum cost " May be responsible for Accounting, Human Resources and other staff functions.

Responsibilities

• Directs manufacturing operations and management teams for plants and locations of an organization that support business goals.
• Incorporates the organizational strategy and plans for operational safety, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and cost control policies and programs in manufacturing processes.
• Monitors production metrics and recommends process improvements, new technologies, and methods to maximize operational efficiency.
• Drives workforce planning activities and a pproves/ allocates resources based on business priorities.
• Implements long-term plans for facilities, equipment, materials, technology, and workforce resources to maintain manufacturing capacity and processes.
• Leads and directs the work of other managers and has responsibility for personnel actions including hiring, performance management, and termination with concurrence from HR & General Managers.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Business or Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/ or Experience Required
• Bachelor's Degree in Business preferred
• 8-10 years experience in a relevant function
• Leadership skills.
• Capacity planning.
• Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM).
• Manufacturing operations management.
• Process optimization.
• Resource planning. Risk management.
• Safety policies and procedures.
• Performance metrics.
• Organizational goal setting.
• Strategic planning.
• Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Team building. ERP systems.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
