    Description

    The Clinical Manager is responsible for the clinical aspects of the Wound Healing Center and collaborates with the Program Director and Medical Director to coordinate services in providing quality care to patients with chronic non - healing wounds.

  • Assists with developing specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
  • Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management. Performs and oversees scheduling, staff development, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements.
  • Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations. Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies.
  • Works with the Regional Director of Clinical Services to augment clinical functions within the Wound Healing Center. Implement clinical recommendations made during clinical review visits. Evaluates monthly adherence to the Clinical Pathway (Clinical Indicators) and take corrective action in collaboration with the Medical Director and Program Director.

    Minimum Education
    Bachelor's degree X Preferred □ Required

    □ Basic Life Support (BLS)

    Required Skills
    Licenses: Current Virginia State RN license

    Required Skills
    Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

    Minimum Work Experience
    Required - Minimum 4 years clinical experience.
    Preferred - Ambulatory experience. Prior management experience in an ambulatory setting.
