    Description
    Job Title: Ob/Gyn Physician

    Summary: As part of a multi-disciplinary team, the Ob/Gyn Physician works under the Clinical Director to deliver prenatal, gynecological, and obstetric care in a patient-centered environment. The physician follows clinic protocols, provides examination, evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and education to patients while maintaining accurate medical records.

    Main Responsibilities:
    • Provide prenatal, post-partum, and outpatient GYN medical care following BACH's clinical policies and procedures.
    • Act as primary consultant on all obstetrics/gynecology cases referred by other providers.
    • Identify, evaluate, and address disease prevention and health promotion issues for patients.
    • Maintain legible, accurate, and confidential medical records.


    Secondary Responsibilities:
    • Fulfill forms and maintain correspondence with hospitals and community organizations involved in the medical care of clinic patients.
    • Participate in staff conferences and continuous quality assurance programs.
    • Supervise medical interns and student medical professionals.


    Qualifications:

    Required Education, Experience, Training:
    • Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
    • Completion of an accredited residency program.
    • Current California Medical License.
    • Board Eligible or Certified in OB-GYN.


    Certifications/Licenses:
    • Current California Medical License.
    • Current DEA Registration.
    • Basic Life Support Certificate (CPR) from AHA approved.


    Critical Success Factors:
    • Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision.
    • Effective communication skills.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead teams and projects.


    Physical Demands:
    • Sitting, walking, and standing associated with a normal medical/clinical office environment.
    • Regular bending and stretching; lifting.
