Overview

We are seeking a dependable, compassionate, and experienced caregiver to assist our elderly father in his home in Stafford, VA.

This is a long-term position with consistent hours. We are looking for someone who takes pride in providing professional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist with washing, getting out of bed, dressing, grooming
• He is currently not strong enough to get to the bathroom, so there is diaper changing and cleaning of area
• Empty catheter bag
• Prepare simple meals and encourage fluid intake
• Light housekeeping related to his care (laundry, dishes, tidying)
• Mobility support and fall prevention

Requirements

• Must be available M-F, 6:30am-4:30 p.m.
• Must have at least 2 years senior care experience
• Must have experience in emptying catheter bag and cleaning around catheter area.
• Must be able to speak and understand English very well
• Must have training in CPR/First Aid
• Does not smoke
• Must have own transportation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour
