    Description

    Electrical Project Engineering Manager

    We are looking to hire an Electrical Project Engineering Manager located in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex to add to our growing team.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Read and understand blueprints, schematics, and equipment installation specifications.
    • Wire and diagnose malfunctioning apparatus such as motors, scanners, readers, and replace damaged or broken wires and cable.
    • Build and terminate power cabinet with meticulous attention to detail.
    • Test malfunctioning machinery and determine malfunction.
    • Replace faulty electrical components of machines such as relays, switches, motors, and positions sensing devices.
    • Plan layout of wiring and install wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus in the facility.
    • Ensure all panels, wiring, and assembly practices conform to the electrical schematics and drawings.
    • Strong understanding of the National Electrical Codes (NEC).
    • Responsible for quality assurance aspects relative to the job/task performed.

    Requirements:

    • Associate's degree or higher in Business, Engineering, or alternatively, Electrical trade certifications and/or licenses.
    • 5+ years of experience in managing electrical projects in leadership role overseeing teams, project management, scheduling in a manufacturing environment.
    • Able to read and understand ANSI type industrial wiring diagrams and schematics.
    • Strong organizational & communication skills.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • PMP Certification or course work.
    • Ability to learn and work with the companies MRP system (SysPro).
    • Advanced skillset using Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, MS Project).

    Physical Requirements:

    • Must be able to lift 30 pounds from ground level to chest.
    • Unimpaired speech, hearing and sight (continuous).
    • Posture changes from sitting, reaching, standing, walking, and lifting intermittently.
