    Role Description

    This is a full-time hybrid role for a Loan Processor at Longhorn Investments. Applicants will be required to work in office at our corporate office in Dallas, TX for three to six months before working remotely. The Loan Processor will be responsible for reviewing and processing incoming loan applications, verifying accuracy of application data, and ensuring timely closing. The Loan Processor works closely with Loan Officers and will communicate with borrowers, third-party vendors, and underwriters to ensure timely loan processing and closing. Our processing team regularly closes loans in three to five business days.

    Qualifications

    • 2+ years of experience in residential and/or commercial loan processing or closing experience. Escrow Officers and title agency closers with relevant work experience are encouraged to apply.
    • Ability to multitask and work under a high stress face paced environment.
    • Strong knowledge of loan processing procedures, regulations, and guidelines including review of credit reports, appraisals, bank statements, flood certificates, entity documents, and
    • Familiarity with closing procedures, loan documentation, and funding requirements
    • Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
