    Talis Group's client is a Louisville-based IT consulting and managed service provider. They are in search of an experienced, competent Help Desk Technician. This role will provide technical support to their customers. You must have service-oriented communication skills to assist customers via phone and email and resolve issues.Salary: $65 – 75K, plus generous benefits package HIGHLIGHTED DUTIES
    • Serve as first point of contact for customers in need of technical assistance.
    • Provide basic IT support for Microsoft's core business applications and operating systems.
    • Provide updates to customers on their open tickets, as needed.
    • Remotely troubleshoot and diagnose issues in a timely manner.
    • Follow proper procedures when necessary to escalate tickets.
    • Consistently record time spent on calls/tickets in time keeping system.
    • Log steps and actions taken to complete ticket in ticketing system.
    HIGHLIGHTED REQUIREMENTS
    • 1+ years' experience in a help desk / customer service support role
    • Strong communication skills and a courteous, customer service demeanor
    • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues.
    • Proficiency in Windows operating system
    • Preferred qualifications:
