Job Description
A licensed therapist is responsible for providing mental health services to clients utilizing a broad range of proven approaches and techniques. They work with individuals, couples, families, and groups to help them overcome or cope with the psychological pain of debilitating emotional and mental health issues. They are responsible for assessing clients' needs and developing treatment plans and coping strategies that are tailored to their specific needs.
Job Requirements
Conduct initial client consultations to gather client information and a rudimentary understanding of the salient issues.
Assess patients' emotional and mental health and develop treatment plans to meet them.
Ask meaningful questions and listen empathetically to help patients explore their thoughts and feelings.
Establish a positive, trusting rapport with clients so that they can feel safe discussing sensitive and painful experiences which might help to shed light on their psychological condition.
Counsel, advise and guide clients on issues and situations which are important to moving forward on their journey to mental wellness.
Create individualized treatment plans which are tailored to the specific issues, needs and circumstances of each client.
Establish goals and milestones with the client to ensure that they are progressing and responding to the treatment plan.
Adjust and refine the treatment plan with periodic assessments to ensure the client is making progress, feeling better and moving forward to a healthier emotional condition.
Maintain detailed, timely and accurate client documentation.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
A growth mindset is vital. You must be committed to learning and growing as a professional through continuing education, reading relevant articles/studies and continually researching proven and promising therapeutic modalities.

A starting salary for full time positions of between $75k and $90k
A quarterly bonus based on therapy sessions in excess of the average expected load of 25 clients per week
